MISA | The Photographer and Visual Artist
MISA is the professional and artistic name of Paolo Maria Pavan, photographer, musician, and visual artist based in Amersfoort, The Netherlands.
He operates as an independent creator, working across two dimensions:
Artistic Projects | conceptual and authorial works exploring presence, identity, and authenticity.
Professional Commissions | portraits, editorial, commercial, and creative photography for private clients, institutions, and brands.

Stichting ITECA | The Foundation
The ITECA Foundation (KvK 71180737) is a Dutch non-profit foundation and the legal custodian of MISA’s entire artistic catalog and intellectual property.
It exists to guarantee the ethical, cultural, and long-term preservation of the artist’s work.
Main Responsibilities:
Ownership & Custody | holds legal title to MISA’s works, archives, and rights.
Copyright & Image Rights | manages and enforces reproduction, publication, and exhibition rights.
Ethical Oversight | ensures every use of MISA’s work respects both the law and the dignity of the people portrayed.
Archiving & Conservation | preserves digital and physical materials within the European Union, ensuring traceability and integrity.
Cultural Mission | supports education, ethics, and the dissemination of authentic artistic values.
ITECA acts as the guardian of artistic integrity, separating cultural stewardship from commercial operations.
ALTROVERSO | Management, Booking, and Cultural Operations
ALTROVERSO (registered trademark of Palazzo Italia B.V., KvK 81905297) serves as MISA’s official commercial and management partner.
It operates as the interface between artistic creation and the external world | coordinating both artistic and professional activities.
Core Responsibilities:
Client Relations & Bookings | manages requests, commissions, and collaborations.
Contracts & Project Management | prepares project proposals and coordinates production logistics.
Editorial & Cultural Work | curates publications, exhibitions, and visual content related to MISA’s oeuvre.
Sales & Licensing | handles fine-art prints, limited editions, and authorized reproductions under the supervision of ITECA.
Public Relations & Representation | acts as the official communication and booking channel for MISA in all contexts.
ALTROVERSO ensures professional coherence and transparent client interaction while maintaining MISA’s artistic integrity.
XTROVERSO | Financial, Compliance and Risk Management Partner
XTROVERSO serves as MISA’s financial, risk, and compliance partner, ensuring all administrative and contractual processes meet European standards of transparency and accountability.
It acts as the second line of defense for all legal, fiscal, and operational relationships involving MISA, ALTROVERSO, and ITECA.

KYC / KYB / KYS Procedures | verifies the identity, integrity, and compliance of all clients, partners, and suppliers.
Third-Party Risk Management | screens business relationships to ensure ethical and financial reliability.
Financial Administration | oversees payments, invoicing, and cost structure for commercial and artistic activities.
Contract Authentication | manages and validates e-signature workflows for all participants, clients, and collaborators.

Audit Trail & Documentation | maintains traceable and auditable records for every engagement under MISA’s name.

4URight | Legal Counsel for Privacy, Rights, and Regulation
4URight is MISA’s independent legal advisor, providing oversight in all matters of privacy law, intellectual property, and compliance.
It works alongside ITECA and XTROVERSO to ensure that every aspect of MISA’s activities, artistic or commercial, remains within Dutch and EU legal frameworks.
Main Responsibilities:
Legal validation of contracts, releases, and agreements.
Continuous GDPR and data protection oversight.
Management of copyright and image rights disputes or clarifications.

The Crealoft | Studio and Creative Space
The Crealoft, based in Amersfoort, is the operational heart of MISA’s work.
It is both a professional studio and a creative sanctuary, where the full range of artistic and commercial photography takes place.
Functions:
Studio for portrait, editorial, and fine-art photography.
Production and collaboration hub for visual and sound projects.
Meeting space for clients, models, and creative partners.
Physical archive for selected works and limited editions.
The Crealoft is not a legal entity, it is the physical space where vision becomes visible.
